Amy Rose.(エミー・ローズ, Emī Rōzu) is a pink, mobian hedgehog who is in love with Sonic and has been trying to win his heart,including impressing him by fighting robots.She is well-known for uses her Piko Piko Hammer to crush her enemies and sometimes hit anyone who get her mad.Amy is best friend with Cream and acts as a older sister to the young rabbit.

Sonic saves Amy for the first time
Using her skills with tarot cards Amy discovered that she was to have a "destined" encounter with Sonic on the Little Planet.Excited she rushed over to the place where the small planet appears one month out of the year.It wasn't long before she ran into her crush and couldn't help but start to follow him.Her happiness was short lived when she was kidnapped by Eggman's creation,Metal Sonic but Sonic eventually rescued Amy from her capture,and saved Little Planet from Eggman's grasp.Since then Amy follows Sonic trying to win his heart

Amy is presented as a kind and sweet hedgehog and is always ready to get in action.She is bossy,stubborn,and can be very violent and aggressive when provoked,something that make her pulling out her Piko Piko Hammer out of nowhere and smack who offend her.But despite her violent tendencies Amy has a very good heart,she never gives up,and is very optimistic and cheerful.She also is protective of hers friends,especially Cream ,and like Sonic have a strong sense of justice

Amy possess super speed and is faster enough to catch Sonic from time to time.Her primary method of attack is her Piko Piko Hammer,which she uses to inflict major damage to her enemies.She knows plenty of ways to utilize this unique weapon of choice ranging from spinning it around to create huge pink tornadoes,slamming it into the ground,and send out a dome-shaped energy wave called "Rose Typhoon" and has good acrobatic skills using her Hammer as somewhat of a spring to propel her in the air.Amy seems to have access to hammer space,as she is able to conjure a hammer out of nowhere and can summon more than one.It is known that Amy can read tarot cards,which she uses to locate Sonic or predicting one's future with them.
